2) Assemble the Parts
To hook up an scent dispenser to an XBee for output you can smell, you’ll need:
- XBee 802.15.4 Radio
- Battery-operated air freshener like Glade Sense & Spray
- Breadboard
- Jumper wires
- XBee Breakout Board – for your circuit.
- XBee Explorer USB – for programming your radio.
- A DC power source, 2.8 – 3.4V – We’ll be using two AA batteries in a battery holder.
